DENTISTS
Mr Fadia, 8to8 Dental’s Buckie Principal Dentist has spent the last 14 years of his career in the North East of Scotland. He has a special interest in Implant Dentistry and has been awarded the Post-Graduate Diploma in Implants from Royal College of Surgeons, of Edinburgh. In addition, he is a Qualified Sedation Dentist and offers this as an alternative option to anxious/nervous patients which is a service that is high in demand. He also routinely offers Invisalign and other Smile Makeover options. He is acutely aware of the importance of taking time to discuss all possible treatment options with patients to ensure that they understand and have confidence in the service that is provided.
After qualifying in 2002 from Rajiv Gandhi University, India, he migrated to The UK and finished his M.Sc in Public Health from Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford in 2009.
Mr Fadia is also in to his ninth year as a dental trainer and mentors new dental graduates in their first year after university. He finds it extremely gratifying to see young graduates reach their full potential. 7 of his last trainees have chosen to continue working as Associate Dentists at the practice.
While not at work, he likes to spend time with his 2 kids who help him stay young.

Ms Sinclair, 8to8 Dental Keith’s Principal Dentist has completed her Licence in Dental Surgery (LDS) from The Royal College of Surgeons of England, London in 2014. Before moving to the UK she worked in Australia for 5 years after successfully completing her Australian Dental Council Exams in 2009. She graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University, India in 2002 and has been practising dentistry since.
She practises all aspects of general dentistry with special interests in periodontics. She is currently undertaking post graduate diploma in Advanced Periodontal treatment.
Ms Sinclair is also a dental trainer at our practice in Keith. She believes that it’s extremely important to guide, motivate and encourage new dentists who are embarking upon a dental career which is quite challenging. 2 of her last trainees have chosen to continue working as Associate Dentists at the practice.
Ms Sinclair is also a partner in the business. She works closely with the Principal dentist and managers to deliver people solutions. She also helps the organisation meet its goals.
In her spare time she likes gardening and spending time with her family.

Mr Sizer is originally from Manchester, qualified from the University of Dundee in 2016. He believes being a good listener is important for his patients in order to receive the best possible dental care. He is a Qualified Sedation Dentist and has also completed training in Domiciliary Care, providing dental care in local care homes. In addition he is also the Chairman of Grampian LDC (Local Dental Committee) and is involved in supporting the Dental community in the Grampian area. He has been approved as a dental trainer’s and is keenly awaiting to mentor his first trainee when students graduate next.
In his spare time, he will most likely be found walking the dog, kayaking or cooking for friends and family

Mrs Desai has been with 8 to 8 Dental for over 5 years. Mrs Desai graduated from Maharashtra University, India in 2008 and later successfully cleared her Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) in the UK.
She has completed a PG-Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. This allows her to undertake more complex restorative treatment and give advanced aesthetic options to patients to achieve the smile that they have been looking for.
She is also a vocational trainer for National Education Scotland (NES). Currently, she is also participating in a pragmatic clinical trial to explore an alternative treatment option called Full Pulpotomy compared to the conventional option of Root Canal Treatment for patients experiencing severe toothache called irreversible pulpitis, commissioned, and funded by The National Institute for Health and Care Research, Health Technology Assessment (NIHR HTA) programme.
She likes all aspects of dentistry and enjoys meeting new people and helping them restore their smile and function.
She likes to keep herself updated with the latest by attending courses and conferences.
She is also passionate about honing her culinary skills, photography, and travelling in her free time.

Mr Cheah is originally from Malaysia, qualified from the University of Dundee in 2019. He completed his vocational training in 2020 and quickly realised his passion for orthodontics and restorative dentistry and has been attending courses that focus on this aspect of dentistry.
He has completed Biomimetic Mastership from Alleman Centre of Biomimetic Dentistry in 2022 which is a course that focus on preserving teeth structure and restoring teeth back to function and the biomechanics of natural tooth. In addition, he completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry with Distinction and subsequently won Restorative Dentist of the Year 2023 from Smile Dental Academy. He also completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Orthodontics in 2023 and is currently pursuing his MSc in Clinical Orthodontics with Ulster University.
He provides comprehensive restorative dentistry treatment including smile makeover, fixed braces and invisible clear braces. He also accept referrals for NHS teeth straightening orthodontics for kids under 18 from other local practices.

HYGIENIST / THERAPIST
Aswathi graduated with Bachelors in Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India and worked for around two years before moving to the UK to pursue MSc in Advanced General Dental Practice from Ulster university in 2021. She is currently a GDC registered dental therapist and is working towards being registered as a dentist in the UK.
RECEPTION
Jacqueline is our Practice Manager. She started dental nursing in 1994 and has been doing so for more than 20 years. She is from Buckie and is familiar with the dental needs of the community and the surrounds. She manages the daily affairs of the practice and works closely with the team to offer optimum care to our patients. When away from work, Jacqueline enjoys swimming and cycling.
Melanie is from Findochty and is a very welcoming and friendly person. She has various roles at 8to8, she not only manages the front desk along with our Practice Manager but is also a Qualified Dental Nurse. She has worked in the admin sector for the past 7 years. Outside work she enjoys baking, reading, socialising and spending time with family and friends.
NURSES
Carla is from Drybridge, Buckie. She joined the team as a Trainee Dental Nurse straight after school and successfully gained her Qualification in Dental Nursing. She has been excellent in helping patients with history of anxieties and phobias chair side. She is looking forward to gaining her Qualification in Sedation. While not at work, Carla enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her family and friends.
Caitlin started at the practice in 2015 and has progressed from a Trainee Dental Nurse to a few different roles at the practice. She can be found both chair side and at the desk. Caitlin has also gained her NEBDN certificate in orthodontics. She ensures that the care and welfare of patients are carried out appropriately.
In her spare time, Caitlin likes to indulge in some retail therapy and keep fit with dancing.

Jessica has a few different roles at the practice. She can be seen chairside assisting the dentist during Sedation and Implant surgery. She has gained her Sedation qualification through SAAD and Implant training through Noble Biocare.

Naomi qualified as a Dental Nurse in July 2019. She enjoys working with the public, and takes pride in putting patients at ease while they attend their appointment. She can also be found at the front desk.

Ashleigh, joined the practice at the height of the pandemic and had to not only work towards her dental nurse qualification but also has to adapt to the new post Covid PPE regulations.She has done extremely well and is currently awaiting her GDC number. Outside of work Ashleigh likes to spend time with friends and family and walking the dog.
Sophie our dental nurse, is from Findochty. She prides in making the patient feel calm and at ease as most patients are anxious about their visit to the dentist. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends and walking her dogs in the many beautiful scenic places around the Moray Firth.
HOUSEKEEPING
Tracey McFarlaneNow that the practice is a lot bigger than it was when it opened, Tracey is a very valuable help to Eva in keeping the place spotless. Like Eva she has previously worked in NHS surroundings and knows the strict guidelines. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
