Mr. Gordon Smart

Mr. Smart qualified in 1986 from the University of Glasgow and after a short service commission in the Royal Army Corps settled in Forres in 1993.
He gained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002 and has interests in Orthodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
He has been involved in the Post Graduate training of young Dentists since 1998 and is a Vocational Training Adviser for the North of Scotland Region.

Mr. Kenneth Glass

Mr Glass qualified in 2004 from the University of Glasgow and completed Vocational Training at Forres Dental Care.
Ken then worked in the NHS Salaried Dental Service and Independent General Dental Practice in Elgin before returning to the practice in 2007.
He is interested in all aspects of Operative Dentistry & has been involved in the Post Graduate training of young Dentists since 2014.

Ms Lillian Carlin
BSc. BDS

Lillian completed a degree in biochemistry from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania in 2012. Then went on to qualify in 2019 from the Queens University of Belfast as a dentist and completed her Vocational Training here before joining us in 2020. She is interested in all aspects of dentistry & has recently enrolled on a sedation course.

Aidan qualified in 2020 from the University of Glasgow and completed his Vocational Training here before joining us in 2022. Outside of work he enjoys playing golf.

Miss MacInnes qualified in 2022 from the University of Dundee and is our Vocational Dental Practitioner.

Miss Wickens graduated in 2023 from the University of Plymouth and is our Vocational Dental Practitioner. Outside of work she enjoys sea swimming and trying to spot the dolphins.

Miss Reid qualified in 2020 as a Hygienist Therapist from the University of Highland & Islands and completed her Vocational training here before joining us in 2021.

Julie has been with the practice since 2009 & has seen it grow into the practice you see today. She has high expectations for herself & the team and aims to provide a high standard of care for all patients. She enjoys gardening & growing her own veg.

Andrea Souter

Andrea joined the practice in 2010 as our LDU operator and has been welcoming patients at reception with her friendly manner for the past 10 years, she is training to become our treatment co-ordinator.
Outside of work she enjoys meeting up with friends & most evenings & weekends she can be seen on the sidelines cheering her boys on at football.

Sandra is our Head Dental Nurse; she joined the practice in 1988 & has seen many changes. She is known fondly as the Oracle, as she knows the SDR inside & out. Outside of work she is interested in photography & much prefers to be on the other side of the camera!

Karen has been with the practice for over 20 years and supports our trainees as they work toward the dental nurse qualification. She enjoys weekend trips and holidays away with her partner.

Miss Abbigail Fairclough

Abbigail is one of our new trainee dental nurses and is looking forward to working towards her qualification. Abbigail is a friendly and attentive dental nurse. Abbigail enjoys making patients feel at ease and ensuring to reduce any anxieties the patient has. Outside of the dental practice Abbigail is a keen musician, sports woman and enjoys helping the community by volunteering.
